National Black Chamber of Commerce 27th Conference Comes to Atlanta

The National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) is coming to Georgia! Entrepreneurs and business experts are converging on the city with four days of Black excellence.

Founded in Washington, DC in March 1993, the non-profit organization is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the United States and the Black Diaspora.

NBCC’s 27th Annual Conference will be held in metro-Atlanta, Georgia July 24-27, 2019. The conference theme this year is “Economic Empowerment, through Entrepreneurial Pursuits.” This conference will be locally hosted by the Georgia Greater Black Chamber of Commerce, an affiliate chapter of the organization. NBCC provides resources to support the development of startups and established minority-owned businesses.

Black-owned businesses comprise 26% of Georgia businesses which is the second largest in the United States.The NBCC conference will connect attendees with a portion of the 250,000 Black businesses throughout Georgia.

During the conference, the organization will officially announce their most recent federation chapter — Gwinnett County Black Chamber of Commerce founded by Georgia native Cheryle Renee Moses.

NBCC’s four-day convention offers entrepreneurial resources through paneled discussions, and high-level networking with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders complemented by intimate breakout sessions. Participants will engage in informative dialogues with national and international leaders. Panel topics include Cannabis, Opportunity Zones, TeleMedicine, Cyber Security, Privacy, Capital Access, Tech, Film, Health, Trade & Ports, Infrastructure, Diaspora Trade, and Fashion.
