The Urban Mediamakers is an international consortium of independent content creators. Annually in October, actors, artists, designers, developers, filmmakers, production crew members, writers and movie lovers converge in metro-Atlanta, Georgia USA to network in person and virtually, attend learning sessions and see great films streaming in competition. This year we are celebrating 20 years — a huge milestone for the organization.
Over the past years, the we have been known as the Urban Mediamakers Festival (UMF). As content creation has evolved, so are we in our brand and are changing our name to Urban Mediamakers Festival (UMF) in 2021 to encompass all creatives.
This year, UMF is featuring content creators from Georgia, the United States, United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Italy, France, Taiwan, India, Turkey, Thailand, Sweden, Singapore, Namibia, Malaysia, Japan, Israel, Germany, Colombia, Canada, Brazil and Australia.
